Description
The Gardall 1818/2 belongs to Gardall's Two Hour Fire/Burglary line, hand built at Gardall's plant in Syracuse, New York, where the company has manufactured safes since 1950. The walls and door are filled with Gardall's own poured fire insulation.

Construction
- 4-1/4" thick door with recessed anti-pry design; 2-1/2" thick walls
- Five active bolts locking in 3 directions, 1" diameter round bolts
- Two layers of steel and 2 re-lockers
- Heat-treated hardplate protecting the door boltwork; spinning bolts and drill-deflecting shields
- Hinges formed from a single piece of 1/4" cold rolled steel
- Forged door handle with a shear point designed to spin if forced
- Center bolt-down hole, anchoring hardware included
- Adjustable soft-touch shelving

Warranty
Gardall Limited One Year Warranty: Gardall warrants this safe to the original retail purchaser against defects in material or workmanship for one (1) year from purchase, and will repair or replace defective parts at its option. Transportation and labor charges for a repair are the purchaser's responsibility, and warranty work must be authorized by Gardall in advance (Return Goods Authorization). The Gardall registration card must be returned to qualify for warranty service. The warranty does not cover units that were improperly installed, misused, tampered with, burglarized, accidentally damaged, or not properly maintained. As a Gardall fire record safe, this model is also covered by Gardall's Lifetime Replacement Warranty for record safes, per Gardall's terms.

Made to order: safes in Black, Hunter Green or Maroon (special color) are built to order by Gardall. They can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of ordering only, and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
