Are you building a vault room and need an extra-wide vault door? The AMSEC VD8042BFIS Burglar & Fire Resistant In-Swing Vault Door might be just the solution you need. With the minimum door opening of 79.50" in height and 41.50" in width, this extra-wide AMSEC vault door will give you plenty of room to bring in any large items you need to protect.
Security features of the AMSEC VD8042BFIS In-Swing Vault Door include 1-1/2" chrome-plated bolts, commercial-grade vault door hinges, and a 2" thick door that includes 1/2" steel along with 1-3/8" of AMSEC's DryLight insulation. The lock is an ESL10 Backlit Digital Lock with a massive hardplate and two relocking devices. The price shown is for the standard configuration with the ESL10 backlit digital lock. Other finishes, hardware colors, swing directions and lock options (such as an S&G 6730 mechanical dial or ESL20 multi-user lock) may be available from AMSEC; please contact us before ordering to confirm availability, lead time and any price difference in writing.
The AMSEC VD8042BFIS Extra Wide In-Swing Vault Door also provides fire protection. It has 2 Stage Dual fire seals with a silicone seal on the door jamb and a Palusol seal on the door. The 1-3/8" DryLight material will slow any heat from entering your vault room.
The AMSEC VD8042BFIS Vault Door comes standard as an in-swing door, which opens into the room. Are you worried about being locked in? A safety lock release allows you to open the door from the inside.
AMSEC provides a 1-year parts and labor warranty on this vault door, subject to AMSEC's written warranty terms. AMSEC does not publish a fire-endurance rating (minutes) or a burglary rating for this door; fire resistance comes from the DryLight fill and dual fire seals.
