Description
The AMSEC VD8030BF Burglar and Fire Resistant Vault Door is the perfect solution for those that have an extra room, building a new home or remodeling. With the VD8030BF Vault Door, you can turn a dedicated room or closet into a secure vault room.
As you grow older, the more items you will have that need protecting. Items that need protecting could be guns, personal heirlooms, business and family records, jewelry, photographs, works of art, rare coins and more. All of these items need a place to be kept safe and what better than to protect them in your own vault room with the AMSEC VD8030BF Vault Door?
The AMSEC VD8030BF Vault Door includes the following security features. There are ten large 1-1/2" bolts that when activated fit into a reinforced door jamb to resist prying attacks. The VD8030BF Vault Door also features AMSEC's DryLight composite material along with a 1/2" steel plate door. The composite material and steel together give a 1-2 punch for theft protection. The standard lock is an ESL10 Backlit Digital Lock, which offers fast keypad entry and easy user code changes. The price shown is for the standard configuration with the ESL10 backlit digital lock. Other finishes, hardware colors, swing directions and lock options (such as an S&G 6730 mechanical dial or ESL20 multi-user lock) may be available from AMSEC; please contact us before ordering to confirm availability, lead time and any price difference in writing.
The standard handle is a 5-spoke handle.
AMSEC also offers in-swing versions of this door, which open into the room. An in-swing model is listed separately on our site. If you are worried about being locked inside, there is an internal opening handle on the door in case of an emergency.
AMSEC provides a 1-year parts and labor warranty on this vault door, subject to AMSEC's written warranty terms. AMSEC does not publish a fire-endurance rating (minutes) or a burglary rating for this door; fire resistance comes from the DryLight fill and dual fire seals.
