Description
American Security Products (AMSEC) is known for building safes for commercial clients such as banks, and its BF series brings commercial security features to gun safes. The AMSEC BFII6636 carries a UL listed RSC Level II burglary rating.
It features a 1/2" steel plate door and 1" DryLight insulation, for a total wall thickness of 2". The walls and door combine two layers of steel with DryLight insulation. AMSEC reinforces the BFII6636 with a 5/16" inner steel liner, high-security boltwork and an active hard plate that makes the safe more difficult and time-consuming to breach.
DryLight is a poured concrete insulation material situated between the steel layers of the walls and door, providing a dry and seamless barrier without gypsum board. The ETL verified fire protection lasts for 120 minutes at 1200°F, designed to keep interior temperatures below 350°F. The door is equipped with 2-stage dual fire seals, featuring a silicone seal on the door jamb and an expandable Palusol seal to help keep smoke out.
